On Stage Plan for Operations 2020
As of June 8, 2020
HYGIENE AND CLEANING HAND WASHING
Students, faculty, and staff are required to wash hands frequently and wash hands or apply hand sanitizer upon entering the building and between each class or interaction.
Guests in the building are asked to wash hands regularly and/or use hand sanitizer.
HAND SANITIZER 70% alcohol hand sanitizer is available at hallway stations, and in all studio SANITATION STATIONS.
Cleaning is conducted hourly.
Hourly Cleaning to sanitize commonly touched surfaces including restrooms, doorknobs, ballet barres, studio work stations and chairs throughout the day.
In the front lobby, POS equipment, the desk surface, and chairs will be disinfected between customers if touched. Correct Covid-19 virus killing sanitizer will be used.
Between classes, ballet barres, music stands, student chairs, and touch surfaces including doorknobs and floors will be sanitized.
Schedules will be adjusted to allow time for cleaning.
Hygiene and safety reminders are posted for students and staff.
DISTANCING AND MASKS ENTRANCE AND EXIT
Entrance to On Stage is at the FRONT OF THE BUILDING ONLY.
Students and Staff must wear a mask to enter the building.
Students may not use the back door for access to the building.
All Students and Staff will EXIT THROUGH THE BACK DOOR ONLY
Students and Staff must wear a mask to exit the building.
MASKS Everyone MUST wear a face covering at ON STAGE to enter the building.
An exception is made only for an individual unable to wear a mask due to medical condition or disability.
PICK UP AND DROP OFF
Parents should wait with their child at the front door until they are invited into the building. ONLY STUDENTS will be allowed into the building. SORRY NO PARENTS AT THIS TIME.
Note: Saturday 9:00-9:45 a.m. class (3 year old) - 1 parent, no sibling are allowed into the building.
SOCIAL DISTANCING Students will socially distance in class using marked out spaces 8 X 8 Ft on the dance floors.
Front of the building, front lobby and back of the building please used social distancing markers on the floor.
Social distancing is required of all staff in the building.
COVID 19 PROTOCOLS
Please do not attend class if;
Students may not attend classes if feeling ill.
Student- shows any symptoms being experienced including cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat
If students has had close contact with a person diagnosed positive for COVID19
If student has been asked to self-quarantine by a doctor or health official
Any student showing signs of illness will be brought to the teachers’ room/ which has been designated as an illness waiting station.
Parents will be called and the student will be supervised until they can be picked up to be taken home.
Students may not return to class until they have consulted with and been given permission of a health care provider.
If a child or staff member tests positive for COVID-19, they must not return to On Stage until they have a negative COVID-19 test and have met the criteria for discontinuing home isolation and after consulting and receiving permission of a health care provider.
Students Enter the studio through the front door.
Students will sanitize hands and report directly to their designated studio.
After class students will be escorted out the back door for parent pick up.
STAFF Training is provided to workers providing current safety information and -specific protocol regarding: -social distancing -face coverings - hand-washing at home -self screening for fever or symptoms - reminders that employees must not come to work if sick - when to seek medical attention if symptoms worsen -review of underlying health conditions that increase susceptibility to virus.
If On Stage is notified that an employee or student has tested positive for COVID-19, the Fall River Board of Health will be notified.
Management will assist with contact tracing and notifications to faculty, staff, and student families about exposure while maintaining confidentiality.
1. Group classes will be limited in size for the foreseeable future, depending on the studio size.
The studios have been taped in squares to assist with social distancing. Classes will be conducted with distancing in mind.
2. Students must arrive for class in dress code dance wear or theater dress code. Students should pack a small dance bag bringing only what is needed for class. Bags will be brought into the studio and placed distanced according to the teacher’s directions.
3. Students will not share barre space, props, toys, or equipment.
VIRTUAL OPTIONS- On Stage will offer all classes virtually if there is a 2nd wave and a shut down of businesses in Massachusetts. All classes will be offered through zoom.
ON STAGE COMMUNITY- For the foreseeable future, we will refrain from hugging and gathering in groups, as difficult as that will be. Symbolic hugs and kind words are encouraged.
There are many rules that ON STAGE is required to follow in order to be open for classes in person.
Parents are asked to reinforce the importance of following all of these rules.
Close contacts are defined as those who have been within six feet of distance of the individual for at least 15 minutes while the person was infectious.
New GUIDELINES AS OF JANUARY 7, 2021
If you have traveled outside of Massachusetts or been in contact with a positive case.
How long must you quarantine?
The possible incubation period for COVID-19 is still 14 days although the majority of cases have incubation periods of fewer than 10 days.
You will need to remain quarantined consistent with one of the quarantine options below:
7 days of strict quarantine
Release on Day 8 if:
A test (either PCR or antigen) taken on Day 5 or later is negative; AND
The individual has not experienced any symptoms up to that point; AND
The individual conducts active monitoring through Day 14
Individual must actively monitor symptoms and take temperature once daily. IF even mild symptoms develop or the individual has a temperature of 100.0 F, they must immediately self-isolate, contact the public health authority overseeing their quarantine and get tested.Approximately 5%
Residual risk of disease development 10 days of strict quarantine
Release on Day 11 if:
The individual has not experienced any symptoms up to that point; AND
The individual conducts active monitoring through Day 14.
No test is necessary under this option
Individual must actively monitor symptoms and take temperature once daily. IF even mild symptoms develop or the individual has a temperature of 100.0 F, they must immediately self-isolate, contact the public health authority overseeing their quarantine and get tested.Approximately 1% residual risk of disease development14 days of strict quarantine
Release on Day 15 if:
The individual has experienced ANY symptoms during the quarantine period EVEN if they have a negative COVID-19 test; OR
The individual indicates they are unwilling or unable to conduct active monitoring.

Right now there are NO safe travel zones Jan 1. 2021 if you travel outside of Massachusetts you will need to quarantine from the studio for 14 days.
Parents please realize we are working diligently to keep everything in the studio clean and sanitized.
We appreciate your understanding and support in this entire matter.
The safety of our students is our number one priority.
If we are late to the front door it is because we are cleaning or at the back door with another group.

I am fully and personally responsible for my own safety and actions while and during may participation and I recognize that I may be in any case be at risk of contracting COVID-19.
With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, discharge the On Stage Academy of Performing Arts and On Stage Theatrical Productions, its board, officers, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me related to COVID-19 while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premises or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19.
