Private Voice Lessons – Lessons take place weekly for 30 minutes each week from September to May.  Each student is required to keep a three ring binder that he/she will bring to each lesson.  Each lesson is divided into three to four components depending on the students level.  These components include warm-up technique, rhythm and/or pitch development, sight singing, theory, breathing, and vocal performance.  Students are expected to practice daily at home for at least 15 minutes a day. 

Music Minors (age 5 -8) Students will meet weekly for 30 minutes from September to May.  This is a group lesson that will have no more than five students in each group.  Warm up and rhythm exercises along with partner song singing, call and response singing, and listening techniques will be part of this half hour lesson.  The goal of this group will be to become comfortable with small group singing as it relates to balance, listening, and beginning music reading.

Music Majors (age 8-10) Students will meet weekly for 30 minutes from September to May.  This is a group lesson that will have no more that five students in each group.  Warm-up exercises along with basic sight singing will be included in this lesson.  The major focus for this group will be two-part singing, blending, and listening as it relates to the performance of songs written for two parts.

Vocal Harmonizers (age 10-15) Students will meet weekly fro 30 minutes from September to May.  This group lesson may have up to 8 singers.  Warm-up exercises, sight singing and four part harmonizing will be the focus for this group.  During this lesson, balance, blending, along with microphone technique will be presented.  Opportunities for public performance may be available depending on the performance level of the group.
